Quartzite
Not to be confused with quartz, quartzite is the hardest natural countertop. It is a completely natural type of rock that was once sandstone but metamorphosed into the quartzite form. Quartzite is quickly gaining popularity due to its durability and exotic stone look.
Quartzite is scratch resistant and heat resistant, but NOT stain resistant.
It has a very similar look to marble and usually has beautiful veining to make your space one of a kind. We recommend sealing quartzite just as you would with granite - which does help with its stain resistance. Also like marble, it is unmistakable when you see it and every slab is a one of a kind piece of art!
